Description: Dry, red wine. Vintage varieties: Carmenere, Merlot, Raboso Veronese Colour: Vivid ruby core with a narrow purple rim. Bouquet: Pronounced nose with black cherry, damson, soy, cocoa and Parma violet. Flavour: Elegant front-palate with fresh acidity, firm, integrated tannins and medium+ length. It goes good with local salami (sopressa and Val Liona DOP ham) but also pasta with meat sauce and loin or pork. Hugely drinkable.

Flavour: In the mouth it shows superb balance with ripe tannins and a round, generous finish of rare length. It goes good with grilled meat - particularly pork, aged cheese such as Montgomery Cheddar.
